JGCMI Claim Involvement:
- Retained by the owner and architect to complete a management oversight analysis on the construction manager’s performance of the project.
- Review construction manager, architect and owner project files, retrieve pertinent documents for client’s defense and organize it as an evidential core of information.
- Assist legal counsel in the preparation of deposition questions for fact witness and opposing expert witness.
- Complete project cost review analysis and compare contractor’s guaranteed maximum price contract amounts to actual costs incurred and create a list of expenses that were improperly charged to the owner.
- Issue 48-page Expert Disclosure Report with 105 exhibits that established objective cause and effect relationships associated with the management oversight of the project.
