JGCMI Claim Involvement:

• Retained by the general contractor as an expert witness to complete a review of contractor’s sitework and supervision expense.
• Review sitework completion contractor’s cost to complete and render an opinion on whether total cost was fair and reasonable.
• Review general contractor’s supervision and senior management expense and render an opinion on whether total cost was fair and reasonable.
• Provide testimony at arbitration hearing.
• Assist legal counsel in the preparation of arbitration questions for cross-examining opposing expert witness.
• Complete review of opposing expert witness cost to complete report and issue 18-page opinion itemizing where opposing expert witness failed to exhibit appropriate estimating judgment when calculating the projected cost to complete.
• Issue one page Expert Disclosure summarizing professional opinion as to why cost were fair and reasonable.
